Hi I'm Michele

I'm a full-time student, a wife, future dental hygienist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 25, married to a wonderful man and we have a dog named Chewbaca. I'm going to a local community college, trying to get into dental hygiene school. My husband is currently in dental school. We have a small apartment and are newly married after dating for almost 2 years. I love to read and secretly like to play computer games. My back-up plan for school is to go for exercise and wellness, and become a personal trainer or group fitness instructor. Hopefully the dental hygiene plan works out though.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't really grow up being Mormon. My parents divorced when I was extremely young, and my mom later joined the church. I was baptized when I was eight, but we never really went to any church. In high school the girls from my local ward invited me to girl's camp. I attended and starting going to church a little after that. Growing up I had been to several other churches with friends, but I always felt like I ended up with more questions unanswered and I felt incomplete. Once I started attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I felt what I was missing. Although I haven't always made positive choices in my life, I continue to follow the Gospel because I feel the most happiness and joy when I know my Heavenly Father is pleased with my actions. I know this because I can pray, ask for guidance, and receive an answer from my God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my hardest to follow the commandments that the Lord has given to me. I can always go to Him in prayer to know if what I am doing is right. I attend church for 3 hours each Sunday and teach the 3 year old. I try my hardest to help them understand that they are children of God and that He is a loving Heavenly Father. My husband and I go to the temple and worship as well. We have intentions to go once a month, but we often find ourselves needing to improve to meet that goal.
