Hi I'm Holly

I am a wife. I love to dance and cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything related to dance. Zumba is a new passion of mine. I enjoy cooking and baking, but I mostly enjoy eating good food! I like reading a good book that I can't put down, and spending as much time possible with the love of my life, and my puppy Charlie. I don't have kids yet, but look forward to being a mother. My husband and I both graduated with a B.S degree in Psychology, and no, we don't analyze each other. Okay, sometimes we do :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate to be born and raised in the church. I have had many experiences in my life that have testified of the truthfulness of this gospel, and have also strengthened my testimony of my savior Jesus Christ. I find joy knowing that I am a daughter of God, and that He knows me by name. I know he wants us to be happy in this life, and that great happiness comes from righteous living. The purpose of this life is for all of us to have joy, and to become more like our savior. He set the perfect example of how we should live our lives. True joy comes when we put Christ first and serve others. If we do this, we too will have joy.

How I live my faith

I love going to church each Sunday. It is my favorite day of the week. It is the only day that I do not have to go to work, so I have time to reflect upon my life and my faith. I work with the youth of the church. I am in the Young Women's presidency in my ward. I am the second counselor and enjoy working with the 12-13 year old girls. Every Wednesday night we have activities for the youth. I help plan these activities and also teach lessons once a quarter on Sunday. I enjoy visiting other women in their homes once a month to talk about our faith. We give a spiritual thought and always bring a treat to share. Its a nice way to build friendships and to serve others. The more you get to know someone, the easier it is to know their needs and to see them in a way that Christ does.
