Hi I'm Pete

I'm a husband, dad, and dental student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, a dad, and a dental student. I love the beach, college football, and traveling with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon simply because of the happiness I feel living as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At times in the past, I have taken different paths looking for happiness, but have never found anything that provides the true joy that comes from living as a member of this church. Not even close. Through this process, I have found that prayer is real. Through prayer, we can receive answers to life's most important questions. I have also found that the Book of Mormon is additional scripture, like the Bible, that God has given us to help us feel that joy. I love the Book of Mormon for that reason. Living it's teachings of Jesus Christ and sharing it with others is what makes me happiest.

How I live my faith

I try to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I do the "normal" things that members of the LDS church do, I go to church on Sundays, read the scriptures, pray, and try to make decisions that Jesus Christ would be proud of. Most importantly, I try to emulate our Savior in my roles as husband and father. I view those roles as divinely appointed. Lately, I have been able to volunteer at our church's local food bank, called the "Bishop's Storehouse", loading trucks with food that will be delivered to church leaders for families that need assistance.
