Hi I'm Niki

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an out-doorsy person, and I love anything active. I do any sport that's fun ;) and I love doing martial arts. I also love reading, music, and learning anything that is available. I'll always try something at least once. Basically, I just like to always be accomplishing things. I've finished my bachelor's degree in English, and in the past I've served a full-time proselyting mission in Australia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. My parents have always been strong Christians, and have taught me to love Jesus Christ. As I was going through high school, I really found that having a strong foundation built on Christ kept me safe and strong through each day. It also gave me something to build on as I moved out on my own. Of course I had my doubts from time to time. Everyone does. But, through counseling with my Father in Heaven in prayer and scripture study. I've been able to overcome every doubt I've faced. Now, through my own experience, I know that the Lord anwers prayers. I know that He lives and is watching over all of us. I know He loves us individually. I know that He has given us everything we need in order to be happy in this life. I know that families are forever. I know that Christ lived, died, and was resurrected so that we may live again eternally with the Father. I know this gospel is true, that the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God. This knowledge brings hope and light to my life. It has helped me find a stability and strength that I would not have otherwise been able to find. I know we are children of God, and that He loves us infinitely.

How I live my faith

Basically, I try to do whatever I think Christ would do in my situation. I try to be sensitive to everyone I meet, and get to know them personally. Heavenly Father encourages us to do our duties in the church out of love, not just an obligation to serve. As I have done this, I've been able to develop a closer relationship with those around me and with the Saviour.
