Hi I'm Jessi

I am a music teacher, a soon to be Mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from college with a degree in music education. I absolutely love teaching people to sing and work as a group. I love the way music can unite people of all different backgrounds to create one beautiful masterpiece. I am a soon to be Mom and I can hardly wait for the adventure that having a child will be. I love singing, reading and just having fun!

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many uncertainties in life, so many questions and difficult decisions. I am a Mormon because the gospel answers so many of those questions. Without the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ, I would feel lost in this busy world. The gospel grounds me. From the gospel, I know why I am here on this Earth. I have a purpose in my life and an end goal - to return to live with my Heavenly Father again. I know I have a loving Father in Heaven. I know that He cares for me and that He sent Jesus Christ His son to Earth to atone for my sins. I know that by following the simple principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I can find true happiness and joy as I center my life on Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to be the best person I can. For me this means always be a kind and courteous person. I try to get to know my neighbors and be a true friend. Each day is full of choices and I live my faith by making the best choices I can. I conduct the music in my Sunday meetings and I try to bring the peace to our meetings through song. Music is a universal language and I hope that through music, I can help to being people to Christ, to soften hearts and to renew hope.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

I believe with all my heart that families can be together forever. A loving Father in Heaven would want these strong ties that we build on Earth to last. It would be almost cruel to have an eternity without those that you love most. If we can live in accordance to gospel principles, we have a great opportunity to live with our families again. When I was married to my husband in the temple, I knew without a doubt that we truly could be together forever and it was and still is an amazing blessing to me. Show more Show less
