Hi I'm Michael

I joined the Church 12 years ago. My wife and I have three children. I'm the COO of a small company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost, I am a husband and father. The responsibilities and activities connected to those roles are the most important in my life. I'm also a business leader and I take seriously the opportunity to influence the lives of others for good as we work collectively to achieve our company's goals. I've been blessed with an excellent education. I have an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a master's degree from Emory University. I have a wonderful wife and three beautiful children that I adore. The Lord has given me so much; it is the deepest desire of my heart to share with others the love that the Lord has shown to me.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is fundamental to the salvation of mankind. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is as personal as it is universal. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does more to uplift, support, and nurture my family than any other institution possibly could. There was a time when I didn't know any of the things I just wrote. When I was 19 years old, I was seeking for truth, light, and knowledge about the most basic questions we as humans ask: Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? I found the answers in this great Church. I am grateful every day for the covenants I made when I chose to be baptized. In that moment, I promised to take upon myself the name of Jesus Christ and to always remember Him. In return, I was given the promise that the Spirit would always be with me. As I strive to keep my promise, the Lord has kept His. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in many callings in the Church. My most treasured opportunity to serve, though, is the calling from which I will never be released: my calling as a home teacher. In the Lord's infinite wisdom, He has revealed through his prophets the absolute necessity of each man serving as his brother's keeper. I have responsibility to look after and assist in the temporal and spiritual needs of three families in my ward. Some of the sweetest and most cherished spiritual experiences I have had in my life have come as I have served these families. Whether it was moving furniture, praying together, putting up a new mailbox, or offering a blessing to someone who was ill, I have rarely felt closer to the Lord than I have when I was on His errand, serving His children.
