Hi I'm Makenna

I grew up in Utah, I want to travel the world someday and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a beautician, I also am a Certified Nurses Assistant. I worked in an emergency room for over a year and many assisted living facilities. I love taking care of people and helping them feel good about themselves. I enjoy spending time riding my horse, camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking and running. I enjoy beaches, scuba diving and snorkeling. I am a big family person, I love spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I want to follow Jesus Christ. He has given us the scriptures as an instruction manual so we can return to him. He loves us so much and he didn't want to leave us here on earth with no source of communication, so he sent us prophets and he has given us scriptures. I am "mormon" because I have had an experience with The Book of Mormon, where I know I have felt instruction for my life personally that I know has come from God. I know that the Book of mormon is true it has helped me strengthen my relationship with Christ and I have felt the spirit while reading it. I know that this is the way that God wants me to go, to best follow his son, Jesus Christ. I want to be able to live with my family and my future husband for eternity by getting married in the temple. I want to be able to teach my kids good morals and a healthy lifestyle with a strong focus on family.

How I live my faith

In my ward I was called to help and teach 7 and 8 year olds about the gospel. They know and can feel the spirit by going to church class that the church is true. I went to church with a prepared lesson every sunday. I do my best to live a life where others can see my example and want to be better. I am always striving to learn and grow to be more like the Savior. I am aways willing to answer questions about what we believe, and I am always trying to share what I know about Jesus Christ. I treasure my relationship with my Father in Heaven and with Jesus Christ, they have always been there for me and they have helped me in my time of need.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Well I think this is a simple question to answer... how we increase our faith is to live the principle... for example lets say you want to do an actual experiment. Lets say you have two chemicals that make a solution that you desire, you have to put the two chemicals together, to get desired result. So if you want faith this is what you need to do... Read the scriptures, Pray, attend church, and keep Gods commandments... if faith is what you desire, this is how you get it. Show more Show less
