Hi I'm Marilyn

" I grew up in Utah, I love my home, my children/grandchildren, Quilts, and I am a Mormon"

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of seven, and the grandmother of twenty wonderful grandchildren. I love camping, playing on the beach, baking cookies, taking walks, playing games, and going on vacations with my children/grandchildren. I love all the hugs and kisses I receive from grandchildren meant just for me. I love quilts ... I love everything about quilts, making them, quilting them, using them, but mostly sharing them with others. I own a Longarm quilting machine and run a shop attached to my home. It is a wonderful place for me to visit with other quilters about our shared love, and about the truths of the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, raised in an active Mormon home, and have made the choice to remain active and involved in the teachings of my youth and to raise my children the same way. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides direction in my life, and because I want to be happy in this troubled world, I choose to follow that direction. The Gospel has given me a road map to follow, and to raise my children/grandchildren with and I am grateful for that.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are currently serving a couples mission at the Birthplace of the Prophet Joseph Smith. It is our opportunity to invite others to come unto Christ. Everyday we share our testimonies of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the visitors who come. When our mission is over we will return to our family and our community, and find ways to serve those we love so much there.
