Hi I'm Jenna

I was born and raised in the UK, I LOVE to travel, I am a mum of 3......and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mum of 3 kids, I love to travel and decorate my home with my photographs of places we have explored. When I travel I like to visit the less known places. I want to see what a country/culture/ is really about and experience life there as a "local". I want to get to know a place for what it truly is, not for what it advertises. This has brought about many great suprises as I've travelled. I like decorating cakes and am becoming more artistic as my patience has increased! I like to keep fit and our "family bike ride" is one of my favourite times of the week. I work part time in a medical centre and my husband works full time from home, yet often he is often a better housekeeper than me! I love learning and wish I could fit in more time to read great literature.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints a year before I was born so I was raised in the faith. I often just felt that principles of the gospel were true and good as I started to do them. I particularly remember one time when we prayed as a family and feeling overwhelmed - I don't quite know how to explain it but I knew there was a God, and He would hear our prayers. I feel happy when I choose to live the teachings of the church - to study Christ's life, to pray, to help others, to fast and to follow the living prophet's counsel. Plus I really want to be with my family once this life has passed us by.

How I live my faith

I have always been eager to help in what ever capacity I can in the area I live. I have taught lessons, helped to run youth groups and tried to reach out to those I come into contact with. I just try to think "What would Jesus do?" and act accordingly. Would he befriend that person, or ignore them, would he show love and affection or his anger and frustration. I try to make every day worth living and try to have done something good to touch someone else's life each day, even if it's something as small as a bedtime story, or a smile to a lonely person.
