Hi I'm Kyle

I'm from Las Vegas. I'm a nerd. I'm a movie buff. I'll never grow up. I love to make people laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved around a little as a kid. From Utah, to California, to Ohio, to Arizona, and finally so far to Las Vegas, NV. I loved growing up in Las Vegas, with all the excitement of living in a busy city and plenty of times spent in mellow moments with my three younger siblings. I played football, volleyball, and lacrosse in high school. I went to college for 4 years. I'm currently serving a full-time mission in the Mississippi Jackson Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born to loving parents who have raised me right by teaching me how to live the gospel. Although their testimonies helped me most of my childhood, I had to gain my own if I were to continue "being Mormon." It took some soul searching, hours on my knees in prayer to a loving Heavenly Father, and His help while going through trials to understand what it truly meant to me to be a Mormon. I now stand on my own simple, but solid testimony, that we have a Heavenly Father who watches over us and hears our prayers, that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to pay the debt of our sins if we allow the Atonement to work in our lives and strive to be better every day. I also know that Heavenly Father called Joseph Smith as His prophet to restore the true gospel of Christ, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to put others before myself. Does it always happen? No, but none of us are perfect. I try to share the happiness and blessings that I've seen in my life through being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm on the Lord's time and on the Lord's side as I currently serve as a full-time missionary in the Mississippi Jackson Mission.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are the fundemental unit that God has put is in to learn and to grow. Children have a right to be born within the bonds of marriage to a loving father and mother who will treat them with love and teach them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that my current family and eventually my own future family will be able to keep our bonds as father, son, mother, daugther, brother, sister, husband, and wife even beyond this life. This is why temples are so important. Within these Houses of the Lord, our families are sealed for not just "til death do you part," but for time and all eternity. We know that this life is but a brief moment in the grand scheme of things, and so we look forward to being together as a family in the presence of our Heavenly Father, and our Brother and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Show more Show less
