Hi I'm Tyrell

I'm a fulltime Missionary in Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and am serving a mission in McAllen, Texas. I am the third of four children. I have fun hanging out with my friends no matter what we do. I played all sorts of sports growing up. I love Mexico, speaking spanish, my friends and family, and being Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in Utah and have been Mormon my whole life. However, I wasn't converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ until I was humble enough to kneel down and ask my Heavenly Father if it was something that he wanted me to do. I received my answer, and I'm still Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by dedicating my time to the Work of the Lord as one of his representatives in Texas. There is truly nothing better than receiving the blessings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in your own life and then sharing them with those you care about most!

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No. We do not. The only marriage we truly believe that binds husband and wife together forever is a marriage in a Temple of the Lord. Here eternal families are created. Here we are married to the ONE we hold most dear for all time and eternity. Show more Show less

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Families are the Most Important Social Unit in time and all eternity. God has ordained them. His commandments protect Families. I believe that the greatest commandments and the Greatest blessings that God has given us both have to do with the power he has given us to procreate. Life is so precious to God. He has given us as his children the ability to procreate. The two most serious sins that any of his children can commit are murder and disregard to the Law of Chastity; Both of which affect this great blessing we have of life. When we choose to disregard the importance of life and use our god given power of self agency to affect the life of another, whether by taking it away or creating it in bounds not divinely decreed, we disregard this precious gift. Homosexuality is in reality no different. God does not just teach that it's wrong for two men to have sexual relations; He teaches that it is wrong for any two people to have sexual relations outside the divinely set limits of marriage. We have been given the divine gift and power to bring more of God's children into this World. God asks that we do so with Love; within the bounds of marriage. ANY OTHER ABUSE OF THIS POWER IS SIN. It is sacred, and should be treated as such. Show more Show less
