Hi I'm Anne, don't forget the "e"
I'm a Mormon. It's the best thing I ever did for myself.
About Me
My name is Anne and I live in Canada. I'm a semi retired interior decorator. I like to sew, mostly for my home. I am the youngest of 8 children, but due to time marching on I only have one sibling left. I have two grown children but don't have any grandchildren.
Why I am a Mormon
First, I'm a mormon because my parents joined the church when I was a pre-schooler. I am a Mormon now because it gives me a peace in my life. I love my family, but I also love my church family. I feel a closeness to members of my church family that makes me feel connected. I love the church's teachings about families. The family is the most important element in the church and I am thankful for the teachings about the family that I have received as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
How I live my faith
Right now I'm responsible for the Library in our church building. I love using visuals in teaching myself and this position lets me help others with their efforts in teaching. I have been busy in the church all of my life and have had many experiences due to things I have been asked to do. I would be a very different person than I am without all the opportunities that the church gives to offer service to others. Believing in Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Redeemer is so important to me. All the things I do and have done in the church over the years has brought me closer to Him and given me many opportunities to become more like Him.
