Hi I'm Eric

I'm a new father, a dental student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend, and we were just blessed with a darling, baby girl. I love playing sports, especially volleyball. If I could, I would spend all of my time with family. I love to listen to and play music. I recently discovered fly fishing and am absolutely addicted. I will graduate college with a degree in physiology and I am currently attending dental school. I served a two year mission for the LDS Church in Wisconsin.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormon, and I was raised in the LDS Church. When I was a teenager, I began to study and prayerfully consider the things I had been taught. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if its teachings were true. I received a witness through the Holy Spirit that it is, indeed, the word of God. Since then, similar experiences have helped me better understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how to apply His teachings into my own life. I am very imperfect. I am grateful that I have a Heavenly Father that allows me to repent and strive to live better. My faith has brought me true and lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day to day. As I read from the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I learn about how I can become more like my Savior. I pray for forgiveness and the strength to come to be a better person. I served a two year mission in Wisconsin, teaching people about Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon. I also have been asked to teach Sunday School lessons for my local church. Serving in these ways has brought me an increase in faith and happiness.
