Hi I'm Andy Moreno

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Central California. My parents and family joined the church in 1970, when I was 15 years old.

About Me

I ran cross country and track in high school, then at BYU. I served my mission in the Canada-Halifax, Nova Scotia Mission. My most enjoyable calling is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who want to learn more.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of the testimony which came to me after reading the scriptures, the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and praying to know which church to join. The Spirit bore witness to me that it is true. When the missionaries challenged me to be baptized, I wanted to join with all my heart.

How I live my faith

The Gospel offers a safe harbor in life for me and my family. We can feel good following the words of the Prophet. We do our best in our callings and offer the best service we can to our fellow members and investigators. We try to be good missionaries.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Andy Moreno
The Book of Mormon is a compliation of accounts and spiritual writings from groups of people who left the Old World and traveled to the American Continent many hundreds of years before Christ was born. The scriptural account was recorded on plates of gold and hidden until they were brought forth by the Prophet Joseph Smith. By the gift and power of God, he translated those plates into English. We can learn from reading more of God's love for us in our day by reading and studying those writings. This scripture along with the Bible testify of the divine mission of Jesus Christ. The best way to learn of the truth of this book is to read it and ask God if it is true. People who humbly follow this path will find an answer from God. I did and I know anyone can learn this truth as well. Show more Show less
