Hi I'm Tyler

Im a sports fan, I served a mission in Upstate New York. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Utah and i love playing sports. Im the youngest of 5 children. I love Sports, I love playing them and watching them. My favorite sports are Basketball, Football and Baseball. I also love to hang out with my friends and family. I was born into the church, and I love it im very happy that i am able to be apart of this church. I served a mission in the New York Utica Mission and it was the best 2 years of my life. Im so grateful that i had the chance to serve a mission for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, I wanted to know for myself if it was true so i read and prayed about the book of mormon and i received my answer that it was true. I knew that God was a loving God and He wouldnt leave any of His children in the dark and by Him calling a Prophet to show us a way to live our lives so we can return to live with Him again and I know that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God. I didnt receive a testimony until my senior year in high school. Im so grateful that I chose to do the challenge to read about the Book of Mormon then to ask God if it is true. I received my answer and I know that everyone who reads and prays about The Book of Mormon with a sincere heart and with real intent and having faith in Christ he will manifest the truth unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost. Moroni 104-5

How I live my faith

I just got home from serving a 2 year mission for the Lord Jesus Christ. I try to live according to the principles of the gospel and through the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ He has made it possible for me to be forgiven of my sins when i sin and im so grateful for him.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes we are christians. We believe that Jesus Christ died for us and was resurrected so we can live again.  “We are Christians in a very real sense and that is coming to be more and more widely recognized. Once upon a time people everywhere said we are not Christians. They have come to recognize that we are, and that we have a very vital and dynamic religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. We, of course, accept Jesus Christ as our Leader, our King, our Savior...the dominant figure in the history of the world, the only perfect Man who ever walked the earth, the living Son of the living God. He is our Savior and our Redeemer through whose atoning sacrifice has come the opportunity of eternal life. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith and the head of our Church. The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ and witnesses of His divinity, His life, and His Atonement.” President Gordon B. Hinkley Without Jesus Christ we would all become subject to the devil and we would never have the chance to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I know that there is a God for if there isnt a God we are not. As it says in Alma 30:44 " All things denote there is a God; yea, even the Earth ... and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator. I can testify that there is a God for without Him there would be no point for our lives. For this Earth could not be if there was no God. All things in the Earth testify of a God. What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

We believe in God, The Eternal Father and in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. (Article of Faith 1:1). We also believe in the Book of Mormon in which is another testament of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We also love and are encouraged to read from the Holy Bible. We believe that God has restored His church again on the earth with living Apostles and Prophets. You can know this to be true by reading and praying from the Book of Mormon. (Moroni 10:4-5).
