Hi I'm Kristin

I'm a stay-at-home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 11 years. I love staying home with our six children! If I find spare time, I enjoy doing crafty things. I tend to skip around between sewing, painting, scrapbooking, and making hairbows. Our family loves the outdoors. Our favorite vacations are our camping trips including hiking, swimming, and cooking over campfires. I have lived in 8 different states, and have traveled to many more. I have enjoyed the beauty and opportunities in each place!

Why I am a Mormon

The decision that my grandparents made to join the church has blessed many generations. I was baptized when I turned eight years old. Since I was raised in the gospel, my testimony began at a very young age. I can recall many instances in my life when I felt very strongly that what I was learning was true. Being a member of the Church has given me such a strong foundation on which to build my life.

How I live my faith

I am involved with the Cub Scouts in our community. I also serve in the Primary presidency which is the organization for children up to 12 years old. I appreciate the lessons that I prepare to teach the children. It helps to continue to strengthen my faith. I also love to hear the words to the songs that they sing. As a mom, it is so important to me that my children gain their own testimonies. Life can be hard. I want them to be able to make good choices based on the things we are teaching them. I know that we are all children of God, and that He loves us. He wants us to return to Him. Some of the things we do to help teach our children are read the scriptures together, pray together, and have Family Home Evening every week. Family Home Evening is a fun time we set aside each week to spend time together, learn about the gospel, sing songs, and play games. Most importantly, I live my faith by doing my best each day. My beliefs reflect the things I do and the choices I make.
