Hi I'm Elizabeth

And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I am from the state of Idaho and I am currently serving a full time mission in Raleigh North Carolina. Before my mission I attended college for nursing school. I wish I can say that I finished but I felt like I needed to do something more with my life at that time, so I put a hold on school for a year and a half to serve a mission. Thats where I am at right now. Its the best thing I have ventured to do thus far. As far as hobbies and interests go, just throw me outside and I am happy. I have a major passion for reading, I'll usually pick up and read anything I can get my hands on. I love listening and playing all types of music. I play piano, flute and I sing. Music is just a part of my life that keeps me going. Its one of the many things in life that makes me the happiest. I have an amazing family (especially parents) who have picked me up and helped put me on the path that I am on today. They have given me strenght that I couldnt have been able to find anywhere else. I love my syblings... All nine of them, and I know no matter what happens in life they always have my back.

Why I am a Mormon

The Elders came to our door as a referral from my cousin who had recently joined the church about 8 years ago. I am not the type of person who just believes things that people tell me. I have to search and ask questions and recieve a personal witness for myself, so thats what I did. I immediatly loved the missionaries and what they had to say and before I knew it I had a date to be baptized into the LDS Church. I remember the doctrine just making sense to me and the peace that came when I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true. It was!! and it still is!! I was baptized with one of my sisters and a cousin at the time. It was a day that I will never forget. Making that choice to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ was the best thing that I have ever done and ever will do for my life. I have recieved strenght and comfort that cannot be recieved anywhere else, especially in a world that is so doubtful and confusing at times.

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by sharing what I know. I am not serving a mission because I have to. but I am serving one because I want people to know what I know. I am here to help others come unto christ and to help them find the happiness that can be had in this life.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Elizabeth
The same way thousands of members all around the world have. Pray and read the Book of mormon and find out for yourself if it is true. This isnt the church of Mormon, but it is the church of Jesus Christ, and if this is His church on the earth today, He will let you know. Show more Show less
