Hi I'm Will

I do comedy improv and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and have played the bass guitar for 7 years, and love to play other instruments as well. I attended Weber State University last year and started doing a lot of comedy improv. My plan is to get a degree in business, raise a family in the gospel, and have a successful life.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is the true church organized by Jesus Christ. The blessing that I recieve from living the principles of His gospel are too many to count! I have so much joy and happiness and feel my Heavenly Fathers love for me at all times. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my family as well. I know that through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting of mistakes that I make, (after all I'm only human) renewing my baptismal covenants, living worthy of the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and continuing to be obedient and to be my best, My family and I can live together for all eternity in our Heavenly Fathers presence once again. I'm proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I know that the Lord doesn't give us a commandment if it's not for our own good. So I strive to be obedient to those commandments. Simple as that.

What is the First Vision?

In the year 1820, there was great religious excitement in the eastern united states. A young man named Joseph Smith wanted to know the truth as to which church was the true church. He read in Ephesians 4:5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." This caused him further questioning. He often studied the Holy Bible in hopes to find the answer there. He read in James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him." He was going to ask God. Who better to ask?? He went into a grove of trees behind his house and knelt down in humble, sincere prayer to his Father in Heaven. He testified of the event that occured after. "I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. When the light rested upon me, I saw two personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name, and said, pointing to the other, 'This is my beloved son. Hear Him." God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to Jospeh Smith in the flesh as an answer to his prayer. Jesus Christ told him that although other churches had pieces of truth, they were not the church that he had established on the Earth and that a restoration was needed. Jospeh Smith was called by God to be the first prophet in these last days. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

For me personally, it is the world around me. Look around at all the beauty and wonder that is in the world. How can all of this be coinsedence?? The human body has been especially amazing to me. The human body works so perfectly that there is no way it can be anything other than a creation from God. But the most importatnt thing that tells me there is a God, is the feeling I get when I pray. When I pray, I know I'm not talking to myself. I know someone is listening. And when my prayers are answered I know He loves me. We are all his children. Why wouldn't He love us?? God has comforted me in my deepest hours. Such comfort is not a state of mind. It is a manifestation of the love that our Heavenly Father has for us through the power of the Holy Ghost. I KNOW that Heavenly Father loves me. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is simply another testament of Jesus Christ. It is ancient records of prophets who traveled to the Americas around the year 600 B.C. It begins with a prophet named Lehi, who was told, by God himself, to leave Jerusalem. Lehi and his family traveled to the Americas and later descendants kept a record events taking place in their time, as well as a visit from Jesus Christ himself in the Americas. The Book of Mormon is full of truth and is the word of God. The Book of Mormon has blessed my life in more ways than I can count.    Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Mormon missionaries proselyte to find those who are ready to receive the restored and everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father knows every single person as though you would know your own child. He knows when you are ready and He will lead missionaries, by the power of the Holy Ghost, to find those people. We understand that not everyone is ready right now. But when missionaries are clean from sin, have faith in the Lord, pray continually, and always work hard, Heavenly Father will tell them everything they need to know. I believe that by those same four things, we too can know the mysteries of God. Alma 2622   Show more Show less
