Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a Mormon. I am from Idaho Falls, Idaho. I enjoy music, dancing, and am an avid reader.

About Me

I am an avid reader and will pick up almost anything I get my hands on. I usually end up owning the book I check out, too, so I have quite the collection of books at home. I also enjoy snowboarding, ballroom dance, writing, singing, and overall having a good time. I am going to college, and I'm enrolled as an English major in the Secondary Education program. I'm about a year and a half into it, so I think I'm set. I enjoy helping others learn new things and I think it gives me a great sense of satisfaction to help others learn something I know and love. I'm also a little bit overly excited and borderline obsessed with pokemon. I don't know why. I suppose it was just a way that i could connect with my younger siblings and relate more with them on their level so it's a good thing to be involved with something you can enjoy with others, so i don't mind a whole lot. Besides, family is my everything and being with them and doing the things they love is what matters most to me above all.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because my parents were raised that way. At some point we all have to have our own conversion, and so it was with me. I was 18, in college, and not going to church because I was tired of being forced to do something I didn't fully believe, even though I'd been a member my whole life. Something changed my perspective, and I got on my knees to find out the answers to the questions that I really wanted to know. The feeling of the Holy Ghost in my heart and the thoughts that came to mind were so strong that from that moment on I no longer had any doubts about it. I know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ and I find great joy in being able to share that with others around me, and helping them understand the things that are dear to me. I continue to live the Gospel because I've seen what it's like to not live it, and I don't want to end up back there again. That's why I take every chance I get to share what I know about the Plan of Salvation with my friends and neighbors who don't share the same beliefs-because it made all the difference for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing others that I truly live what I believe. Examples speak louder than works, so I try to make my example to others the best one I can.
