Hi I'm Henry

I've been unemployed and homeless. I've been searching for the truth for a long time. I've found it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very friendly person who loves to learn more about Jesus Christ. I love the Book of Mormon and the answers it gives me. I worked in a warehouse for 27 years. I enjoy going to church each Sunday, taking the sacrament, and praising my Heavenly Father. I enjoy the gospel knowledge I am learning and will continue to learn the rest of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

One day I met a member of the church who changed my life forever. He was a marine and he told me of his experience serving a mission for the Lord. He also told me that his church provided answers to some questions that other religions couldn't answer. He referred me to the local missionaries and I began my search. The things the elders taught me gave me so much happiness and strength. I was baptized soon after.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by obeying all of God's commandments. The word of wisdom was a challenge for me, but I put my trust in God and He helped me overcome that problem. I do my best to live righteously and I think about the Lord throughout each day. I try to share this wonderful message with people I meet on the streets.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Henry
They began by telling me how Jesus Christ relates to Mormons. The missionaries gave me a Book of Mormon and talked to me about what it was and where it came from. They told me who Joseph Smith was and why he was important. They also told me how their message could help me in my life. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Henry
You can know it's true by praying to God. He gave me so much peace when I prayed and I have never looked back. Show more Show less
