Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I love the outdoors and traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love traveling to places I've never been and learning about different people and cultures. I also love spending time outdoors because I feel that nature reminds us of our Creator. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with so many natural beauties and resources. I believe it's up to us to use them wisely. Relationships are the most important things in life. I treasure my relationship with God, my family, and my friends. My most wonderful days are days spent with loved ones.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've received a witness from the Holy Ghost that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the church that Jesus Christ restored to the earth through a modern prophet of God. This witness has been a tremendous blessing in my life as I've tried to do my best in following God's plan for me. I have a testimony that our prayers are always answered and that God ALWAYS tells the truth. No matter what anyone else says or does, I know I can recognize truth through sincere prayer. Because of prayer, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in church and serving others when I can. I also study the Book of Mormon daily along with the Holy Bible and other scriptures. I do my best to pray sincerely so I can be sure to follow the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I know that when I strive to keep all of God's commandments, I am happy.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Melissa
Some of my favorite blessings that come from studying the Book of Mormon, Bible, and other scriptures: greater strength in resisting temptations, feeling the Holy Ghost, learning truth, strengthening my relationship with God and my family, and receiving answers to questions I've asked in prayer. Another blessing I've received is that no matter how bad my day has been, reading the scriptures always helps me feel better. Try it out and see what blessings you receive. God loves to bless His children, and His blessings are always personal and loving. He knows what we need more than we do. Show more Show less
