Hi I'm Paul

Born in England I grew up in Southern California. Work moved me to Ohio and I love it here! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm retired after working 35 years in the Bell Telephone System, a job I thoroughly enjoyed. After retiring I worked another 8 years in a bicycle shop following a life long interest in cycling. I'm still active and cycle regularly taking a couple of overnight trips each year. I'm married, have 6 children, and best of all 9 grandchildren, the smartest ever!

Why I am a Mormon

I became interested in life after death after a brief stay in a hospital at 18. My wife and I investigated several faiths but they seemed to lack something that I couldn't put my finger on. A friend and his family introduced us to the church and the missionaries and I felt in my heart it was true as did my wife. No big visions, just the comfort of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I have been actively involved in the church since our baptism in 1966. I was rather shy and introverted then so it took a while for me to come out of my "shell" and enjoy my callings but I took all assignments in faith. I now really enjoy what I do which is a clerk and I know my wife receives great satisfaction from teaching the little children. I try to live my life in harmony with gospel principles and I strive to be the same person at church as at home. I can't imagine living any other way!
