Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up in the church. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student, studying sign language. I have taught sign language in Ghana with a group called Signs of Hope International. I love to read, hike, repell, snow shoe, and hang with my family! I served a mission in Adelaide, Australia and loved it!

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been active in the church for generations. They first started in the 1800's from Norway and Sweden. They moved across the plains with the pioneers and have been strong ever since. I continue that legacy because I have learned for myself that this church is the only true church on the earth. I know that what my ancestors sacrificed for was not in vain and that although they went through different challenges than I do, the gospel helps sustain us no matter our circumstances. I know that it is the true path to follow and brings me closer to Jesus Christ than anything else.

How I live my faith

I love giving service, and have done so throughout my life in this church. In my youth I helped organize activities for large groups of youth in our area such as service projects, dances, and special guests for inspirational meetings. I have been a music coordinator for a young single adult group in our church and have been involved in many other faith promoting meetings.
