Hi I'm Marion

I'm a husband & father of 5. I love riding horses with my girls & still smile when my wife beats me in racquetball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my wife and children and my favorite times are those we spend together. I enjoy running, raquetball (even though my wife usually beats me), horseback riding with my girls, and playing the harmonica. I'd like to learn to play the guitar. I also enjoy my career in leadership and organization development.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ because it makes me happy. I have found great joy in the teachings of the church and have become a better person by trying to live what I've learned. Knowing that God continues to speak to us through living prophets, that priesthood authority is on the earth, and that I can be with those I love the most forever are things that bring me strength and hope. And I have learned the truthfulness of these principles through the power of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I really try hard to be a good husband and father. I also try hard to be a good friend and a good neighbor. I love my opportunities to serve in the church. I have had opportunities to work with all ages, but I especially love to serve with the youth. They are so talented, so willing to help others, and so eager to learn. My favorite times with them are serving together on projects to help those in need, studying the scriptures together, and the time we spend camping and hiking in the mountains. There's a lot in this world that seems to pull people apart, but I believe we're all children of a loving Heavenly Father and we have much more in common than we sometimes see. I want to be one who always builds bridges, who inspires faith in Jesus Christ and hope for the future and who cheerfully runs the race of life.
