Hi I'm Christian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 26 years old, married and a father of two young boys, and currently attending dental school. That means most of my time at home is spent in fairly simple activities such as walking to the mailbox (very slowly with the toddler) and pushing swings in the backyard. In what little spare time I have left for myself, I enjoy following sports and playing basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that practices the Mormon faith, but even still, in high school I realized that it can be a lot of work to be a Mormon and there was no reason to do it all if I wasn't sure for myself that it was true. I took up a promise from the Lord found in the Book of Mormon, that if I would read from the book, ponder it, and ask God if it's true, He'd help me know the answer. I have done that many times in my life, and each time I'm reminded by thoughts and feelings in my heart that it is true, the Book of Mormon is true along with the Bible, and the Church of Jesus Christ really is God's church. I'm happy to be a member of the Mormon faith, because I know for myself that it's true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be in all that I do. I try to live the golden rule: "Treat others as you would like to be treated." Christ was kind and considerate to all those around him, and I do my best each day to brighten others' day and be a good friend. I work hard to be honest with everyone I deal with. I enjoy attending church each week, and was asked to serve as a Cubmaster with the Cub Scout program at church. It is fun for me to take a little time out of my life to serve them, and helps me get an idea for what my own boys might be like in a few more years!
