Hi I'm Bethany

I grew up with loving parents and loving brothers and a loving sister that I can be with forever. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have served a mission for the church where I served other people. I am a full-time medical assistant.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know God lives and Jesus is the Christ. I know that I am a child of God, so I am literally a daughter of God. I know that they have given me a wonderful family. I know that they love and care for me, just like my own earthly family loves and cares for me. I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true scriptures from God and that we have modern day scriptures from modern day prophets of God on earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to everyone I come in contact with. I supervise a group of women and make monthly reports. I have taught many people about the church.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Bethany
When Jesus Christ was on the earth, he called 12 men or Apostles to lead the church after he died. Ephesians 2:20, in The New Testament of the Holy Bible, it says: And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. The called the church: The Church of Jesus Christ because Christ was the head or corner stone of the church. Our official name is: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because we belong to his church in these the latter-days, but he is the head or corner stone of the church. We believe that God and Jesus Christ lead the church through apostles and prophets, just as he did before because this is His Church. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Bethany
As Mormons, we believe that families are an essential part of God, our Heavenly Father, plan for us. We believe that families can live "Together Forever" and NOT just until "Death Do Us Part", but forever. Show more Show less
