Hi I'm Laura

I'm an outdoorsy, avid walker. I'm a hairstylist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I learned to do hair while still in high school and worked my way through college styling, cutting, and coloring my friends hair. While at college I studied Industrial Design and also met my sweetheart. We've now been married for five years, have a beautiful little girl and a toddler son. We just relocated to be closer to family and are enjoying the mild weather of the West Coast. In my spare time I like to have lunch with friends, make hair accessories, and travel as much as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I can remember I've known that God loves me. He answers my prayers whether simple or broad and knows me specifically. I have studied and prayed to know if this gospel is true and I feel peace and a calm reassurance every time. I know that God truly is our Father in Heaven and through his power in holy temples, we can live in heaven with our our families forever. When my husband and I got married, it wasn't until death do us part, we get to be together forever with our beautiful little girl and little baby boy on the way. I know that eternal families are part of God's plan and such a beautiful comfort in the word today. This is just one of the many reasons I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I am the leader of young women ages 12-18. I can't imagine a more enthusiastic and fun age! I teach the importance of service and how to set and reach goals all through activities like cooking, relay races, making valentines, etc. The girls are so excited about life at this stage it reminds me of the fresh, optimistic, and energetic attitude of youth and makes me want more and more of their qualities. They teach me just as much as I teach them.
