Hi I'm David Ricker

I'm a Mormon. I served in the US Army for 22 years.

About Me

I am a 50 year old father of five children. I was born and raised in the church in Pennsylvania. I served a 2 year mission for the Church in California. Have been married to my sweetheart for 26+ years. I served 22 years in the United States Army and retired. I have a Balchlores Degree in Business Administration and currently work for a warehouse club. I love reading playing with my children and doing woodwork.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 yeras old, went through our Primary, Young Men and Seminary courses of study. And when I was 12 started to work with the missionaries, I served a honroable full time mission (2 years). I had a testimony when I was young and as I served a mission and joined the Military I lived my testimony. I was not asked about the teachings of the church I had to live them. The gospel is about you being your best and doing as Christ would do.

How I live my faith

As a Latter Day Saint we are asked to visit with other members to encourage each other. This is an assignment we do because we love the Lord and his gospel. I have been doing this calling for over 32 years and in all the locations I've lived during my military career. I have four boys and have been active with them in Boy Scouts. It has not been easy when some troops want to do activities on sunday, and we would exscuse ourselves because we take sundays to worship our Father in Heaven.
