Hi I'm Naomi

I've lived from coast to coast Canada, I'm a photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sister to 3 brothers. Growing up I lived all over Canada. PEI, Saskatchewan, BC and now Alberta. Travelling so much has instilled a love for road trips and spending time with my family. I love to cook, walk through nature and document life through my photography.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I always went to church with my family. What I love about being Mormon is that you are never told to just believe what people tell you. To know if you something is really true ask God. By doing that I was able to find for myself that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Through this gospel I have been able to find peace, direction and a relationship with God.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a weekly basis, read scriptures and have conversation daily with my Heavenly Father. More than that though I strive to follow the perfect example of Jesus Christ. It is going to take more than a lifetime to become like Him. The best I can do is to take is make myself better today than I was yesterday.

Are Mormons Christians?

Naomi
We gladly pronounce ourselves Christians. "Mormon" is a slang term given to the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jesus Christ is the center of our beliefs. We model our lives after his example, teach his word and strive to bring others to Him. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Naomi
No. Joseph Smith was a modern day prophet. He was a great leader in our church who restored Christ's gospel to the earth. We praise him for his many sacrifices, the work of God he accomplished and his Christ-like nature but do not worship him. Show more Show less
