Hi I'm Jacob Stacy

I'm a Mormon, or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a Christian. I am a husband and a father.

About Me

I grew up in colorado, as the second of four children in a divorced family. I was given the opportunity to serve a mission in the New Jersey, Cherry Hill mission. I received two associate degrees from Wyotech. One was in the science of diesel and the other was in business. After seven years working in the oil and gas field, I finally decided that 80 hours a week was only hurting my little family, so I am now a full time student going into a completely different direction, psychology and family therapy. I am married to the worlds greatest daughter of God, and she has blessed me with two of the greatest little kids.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? Because I have knelt down and asked my Father in Heaven in prayer, if Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet of Jesus Christ, and if the Book of Mormon was true. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. My prayer was answered, the Holy Ghost has testified to me that these things are true. I love all that the Savior has done for me, and I want to take an active part in his kingdom to help bring others to share in the joy that I have been given. This church is the Saviors church, and belonging to it allows me to do just that.

How I live my faith

I was asked to serve in our Elder Quorum President within our congregation (ward). I love the gospel of Jesus Christ so much and by serving with all my heart, might, mind, and strength in this calling it gives me the opportunity to not only share that good news with anyone and everyone that comes to our congregation, but the wonderful opportunity to serve them as the Savior has taught us to do. I love being a husband and father. I read and study the scriptures daily, and I pray as often as I can. I am trying to become a better husband, father, friend, and member of society as the Savior has ask me to be. I am a child of God, and I am trying to live my life in a way that when someone looks at me, they will see a son of God.
