Hi I'm Annie

I love the outdoors, I'm a photographer, I'm a writer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have eight siblings. Two brothers. Six sisters. We are all very close. I love reading, writing, photography, education, singing, dancing, hiking and the outdoors. I LOVE to travel! I've been to the U.K. and road tripped through the U.S. and someday I'll see the rest of the world. But my greatest joy in life is being an aunt. My neices and nephews rock! I'd do anything for them. Also, laughing, I love laughing!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because as I read the book of mormon I felt a sweet feeling of peace from the Holy Spirit telling me that it was true. And when I prayed and asked God if it was a book of scripture I felt that same peaceful warm feeling. I know that Jesus Christ lives and cares for me personally. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God through whom the gospel of Christ was restored. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of today, that he is Gods mouthpiece for our time, just as Moses was for his time. I know that God loves His children, that His greatest joy is our happiness. I know that I can be sealed in the temple my parents, siblings, husband, children and grandparents. I can live with them forever! I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It's another Testament of Christ, a second witness alongside the Old Testament and the New Testament. God lives, His Son lives, and we can be with them again.

How I live my faith

I sing in the ward choir. I visit young women that are my age and make sure they are taken care of. I help clean the church so that it is always a reverent place. I teach the little Children to sing Primary Songs. Right now I'm a full time missionary in the Iowa Des Moines Mission, which means I get to invite others to come unto Christ. But I wouldn't do any of it if I didn't first have a relationship with God. And just like any reltionship, with a family member or friend, it takes work on my part. I read the Bible. I read the Book of Mormon. I pray and seek guidance from my Heavenly Father. I try to do what Christ would do if he were here. Serve people and love people. I try and share the Love that I feel from God with everyone I meet.
