Hi I'm Armand

I am a mediator, financial advisor, a big time Disney fan, a skydiver and scuba diver -- and most of all, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a passion for things Disney. That comes from my expereince growing up with all those characters and the trains at Disneyland. Today I share that passion with people as we attend the parks and with our friends. It also ties into my professional life.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been raised Catholic, my parents were upset when I told them of my choice to join the Church. I explained that the Gospel was something that complimented and added so much to what I already had learned from being Catholic. Beyond that, the Spiritual witness that this was the truth was beyond anything that I could deny... and I wanted the truth in my life. That was back in 1974.

How I live my faith

Sharing is the best way I live my faith. All those around me are friends -- current or waiting to be discovered. The gospel is not something for Sunday, it is the fabric of life. I was not always a Mormon. After joining the Church it still took me a long time to realize that by daily attention to living with others in mind, that gospel fabric fills me with satisfaction and a sense of joy.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

While tithing helps the Church do the work of building temples, missionary work, building chapels, etc... it also helps to be invested personally, economically and spiritually in the work of the gospel. There is a saying, put your money where your mouth is -- in this case it is putting your money were you heart is. There are also many blessings that come from tithing. Some of these are miraculous in nature and others are simply the satisfaction and companionship of the Spirit of God letter me know that I am supporting His work here on earth. Show more Show less
