Hi I'm Rick

I was born in Japan, grew up all over the world as an Air Force brat and spent 20 years in the USAF myself and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant who has traveled the world. I hold five different degrees culminating in a Ph.D in Administration/Management and I ended up in sales management and love it. I have seven children and 12 grandchildren and love each and every one of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I met someone on a beach while I was waiting on a college library to open. I was working on my doctorate and the beach was a beautiful place to spend some time waiting for the doors of the library to be unlocked. This someone on the beach was a beautiful lady that I struck up a conversation with. Before the afternoon was over, she had shared her testimony of Jesus Christ with me and I was struck by her comittment to her faith. I didn't see her again for several weeks. In the mean time, I learned everything I could about her faith. The Holy Ghost bore witness to me of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When we met again, she answered my questions about her church and introduced me to the missionaries. A few months later, I was baptised into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that Jesus lives and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that Thomas S. Monson is a living Prophet.

How I live my faith

I try and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by being faithful to His teachings. I honor and respect my wife and put her first in my life. I serve in my church not only on Sundays but throughout the week. I strive to read my scriptures and pray daily. I try to be honest with my dealings with my fellow man and to be a Christlike example to the folks that cross my path. I also try and share my testimony of Christ daily.
