Hi I'm Lue

I am a piano performance major in college. I could be considered a legal midget. And...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in college studying piano performance. I am 4'10" and blend in with junior high schoolers. I love to read, kayak, hike, and go home to visit my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings a happiness and peace in my life that I would not have otherwise. I was born into the church and have parents who were lifelong members. I have heard many say that people who were born Mormons are similar to robots and are a people who were never given the choice to find out if it is true. I find this absurd. I appreciate that my parents have lived according to the standards of the church and have shown me their belief in this gospel through their lives. If they had not taught me these things at an early age, I would now doubt the importance of this church. I am a Mormon today because I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, a loving Heavenly Father, and this true church. I have prayed about the Book of Mormon and received an answer for myself. I am a Mormon because, simply, it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through attending church, reading my scriptures (including the Book of Mormon and the Bible), and trying to live my life following the example of Jesus Christ. I live my faith by listening to the prophets God has given us today, by striving to serve all around me as the Savior would, and by accepting callings and showing my Heavenly Father that I am devoted to His cause.
