Hi I'm Brian

I'm from Northern Ireland, I'm a student, a husband, a soon to be dad and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern Ireland but I now live in England with my wife. Im studying International Business and Economics at university, and someday hope to have my own businesses. I love sports!! Especially football and Golf. They keep me sane and i really enjoy doing them both. I've been married just over a year now and my lovely wife is just about to give birth to our first child... which is a little bit scary. I'm the kind of person who loves to laugh and enjoy myself, having lots of fun along the way. But a huge part of who I am is my faith in the Saviour Jesus Christ

Why I am a Mormon

Because its amazing! I love being a member of this church. I have been taught the principles and standards of the church since I was young, but it was only when I started to question things a little did I discover for myself that it was all true. I received an answer to my prayers through the feelings and thoughts I had in my mind assuring me that the direction I was going was right. But I am a mormon simply because I know this is Jesus Christ's true church and my life really is amazing because of it.

How I live my faith

I simply try to be best possible person I can be. The Book of Mormon teaches that we should be the kind of people that Jesus Christ is and trying to do this has increased my faith helped me to in some way 'practice what we preach'. I feel the best way I can live my faith is to share it with everyone. Everything I have in my life that makes me happy is because of the church and I want everyone else to have a little bit of the happiness I have. I was also able to serve for two years as a full-time missionary for the church.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brian
Its quite simple actually. Anybody who sincerely wants to know if it is true, can. Anyone who reads, ponders or thinks strongly about and then prays asking God if the Book of Mormon is true will come to know for themselves that Mormonism is true and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church on the earth today. I know this is true because I have felt it as I have done these things. The Holy Ghost is what will ultimately will help people know its true, through the feelings, thoughts and impressions it gives, like peace, joy and happiness. When you receive those feelings you can know that mormonism is true, you should then determine to follow Jesus Christ by having faith, repenting and being baptized and confirmed a member of the church.
