Hi I'm Dawnelle.

I moved 15 times before I was 15 years old. I love board games and scrapbooking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 2 kiddos and I love, love, love everything about being a mother. I'm not saying I love the pee all over the toilet seats or the inevitable smell of dog they have when they have been playing outside (we have no dog BTW)- but the perks are worth it all. I enjoy scrapbooking, love to play the piano and am learning to love running.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life. Long enough to have had points in my life when I didn't read the scriptures regularly or pray often. I know that when I am keeping my life in harmony with the Saviors teachings, my life is blessed and I feel joy in my daily life. That doesn't mean that life is always easy, it just means that I have comfort in knowing that this life has a purpose. I had read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and I know without a doubt that it is true. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father who has not left us alone in these modern days, we have a Prophet of God on the earth just like they did in Bible days. And I know that if I choose to follow the commandments and the gospel teachings I can be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

Right now I have the opportunity to teach the young women in my church. I remember being their age and finding out for myself that the gospel is true and it is a blessing to watch their testimonies grow. The Temple in my area has been closed for remodel for almost 2 years it is about to open again. The young women here get to participate in a cultural event with thousands of other youth and I can't wait to see how this blesses their lives!
