Hi I'm Winn

I'm proud to be a Mormon boy.

About Me

I have been married for 30 years and have two wonderful children. I am a teacher by trade, and love sports, art and music, but especially chocolate! My wife and I love nature and enjoy the outdoors and new adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but had to come to experience my own conversion. It seems to be innate in me to seek after the truth and I had to go through my own personal journey of discovery until I realized I had the truth before me--it is a great source of peace and solace for me personally.

How I live my faith

I served as a missionary for two years in England which fueled my love for teaching. I am currently a Director of an Institute of Religion for the Church Education System teaching college age students. I strive to teach the gospel by following the example of the Savior, and by trying to be the best neighbor my neighbors have had.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Winn
We believe we are saved by grace through the mercy and kindness of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We believe our works are essential to qualify us for the Lord's help and enabling power that can save us. Another word for grace is "gifts". We strive through obedience to qualify for those gifts that will save us, and express gratitude for the Lord's saving grace expressed through His atonement, and His daily tender mercies.
