Hi I'm Trent

I'm a Diabetic, loving life, serving a mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well i grew up in a small town in Nevada. One of those small desert towns. Growing up there i enjoyed riding fourwheelers, hiking, camping, and all the fun stuff that has to do with the outdoors. As well i spent many hours playing football and basketball. There is 5 in my family. I have an older sister, older brother and two younger sisters. Growing up i was the quite one of the family, a shy kid you could say. I have changed since but I was the shier one of the family. When i was 14 i found out that i had type one diabetes. It was something that i have learned to be grateful for. I have learned a lot from having diabetes, it was a big life change for me but it is something that I see now as a blessing. I really enjoy helping others, so i have always looked for jobs that i get the chance to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

Well i grew up in the church and like many of those who grew up in the church you have to find out for yourself if the mormon church is right. For me i noticed how happy my friends and family were. It something that i wanted. There came a time in my life that I wasnt happy for the choices that i made. I wanted what i saw in everyone else because I wasnt happy with myself. And so i did what everyone had always asked me to do. To trust in God and ask him. So i did because i asked i found that living the gospel is true and brings that happiness in the lives of others. I found for myself that happiest that i saw in others. So i chose to be a mormon not just cause i grew up in it and that everyone else was mormon but because i felt in my heart that it was the right thing to do. I knew that cause asked God and acted upon that answer which i got. I knew that if these things are true that I had to put forth my effort and seek to change. How grateful I am to know what my Heavenly Father would have me do in this life so that I may find peace in my afflication. How grateful I am for a Heavenly Father who knows and loves me, who answered my prayer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others. It is something that I want to do. Others have helped me in many ways and i want to help others. My faith has given me reasons to want to help others. Right now im in the Raleigh North Carolina mission serving others as a full time missionary. I have seen a great change in my life as i have lived what i know to be true.
