Hi I'm Allen

I love snowboarding, hiking, my family and life, and I'm a Member of the Curch of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints

About Me

I live in Utah, and I am 19 years old. I love to hang out with my budds and just chill. I want to go to the University of Utah and get my PHD in Counseling Psychology. I love to listen to tons of music including Techno, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, and a little bit of country. I want to one day learn to play the piano, and to do something awesome like skydiving or bungee jumping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have recived revalation from the holy spirit that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. I have recived revelation that there is a prophet today that converses with God to help us come closer to God and to warn us of times ahead just like the prophets of old. There are also 12 apostles who lead and guide the church. I have felt the power of Jesus Christs sacrafice in my life it has comforted me and it has helped me come out of the lowest of lows.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to obey the comandments of god, and I have noticed that the more I obey them the more joy and happienes I feel. There have been times when I have been in that dredfull pit of dipair just digging deeper and deeper, but through jesus Christ he has been able to lift me out no matter how deep i dug. When I am doing the things that are right I am able to feel peace even though bad things are happening to me, and I want to share these great blessings whith everyone so I am on a mission spreading the word of the lord's restored gospel.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Because not everyone will get the chance to recive a chance to recive the gospel of Jesus Christ in this life... so the wonderfull message is that after this life everyone that has not had a chance to recive the gospel in this life will have a chance in the next... but they will not have a body in the next life so we will have to do the saving ordinances like baptism for them. That is why family history is so important to us.
