Hi I'm Tamara

I was fortunate while growing up.. to live in England, in Saudia Arabia, and in the US. I love to travel! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 4 incredible kids! I stay busy with a son serving a full time mission, 3 girls at home, and a farm. We currently have 3 horses, 2 potbelly pigs, 2 dogs and 1 kitty. I love to be outside with them... I also love to sing. It is so fulfilling to be able to share my Testimony and love of my Savior, Jesus Christ through music.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life... I learned at an early age the beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I learned and sang the Primary songs while I was young, but there comes a point in your life when you have to choose whether you would remain a member and uphold it's standards and teachings and take them as your own or not. I was also exposed to other Faiths and Beliefs as I lived in other parts of the world. I appreciate other cultures and am so grateful for that opportunity to learn and respect others and their ways of life. For me, everything I learned in my faith made sense, every principle kept was for a reason. I appreciate the guidlines it sets, for myself and for my children. I gained my own personal Testimony at an early age, I know in the beginning I leaned on the testimony of my parents, but through obedience and desire later received my own personal witness of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I really can't express the peace and the joy it brings in my life, for it is unbounding. I cannot imagine the void it would be without the knowledge and conviction that I have. I love my Savior, my desire is to serve Him... all the days of my life. I believe we are here on the earth to help one another, to all search and find that peace. I now, have the blessing of a son who is worthy and willing to be serving a full time mission. He writes weekly... "mom, this is the best decision I have ever made... I love these people and I love my Savior." wow... I am so blessed!

How I live my faith

When you Know something... when you have no doubts whatsoever... then you just do it. It's hard sometimes, life gets tricky, but I look at the Big Picture... I mean the really big picture. And, really, there is nothing on this earth more important to me than the knowledge of returning one day... to live with my Father in Heaven. Someone cutting me off on the freeway... no big deal.... returning some miscounted change... no big deal. Exercising a little more patients with my kids... no big deal. Getting up going to church even when it might have been a rough night... no big deal. I just do it... I try to be where I'm supposed to be, when I'm supposed to be there. And, that's all the Lord requires our personal best... He makes up the rest.
