Hi I'm Jeremy

I like to hunt, fish, and be outdoors. I love being with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town. I love being around people and interacting with them. In my life, I have worked at many jobs doing construction, fixing cars, making bagels, and selling suits. I enjoy traveling and seeing new things. I love the Island of Samoa and the people there. I love camping and being outdoors with my friends and family. Right now, I share the Gospel full time as a missionary and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel like my relationship with my Heavenly Father has been the closest its ever been and continues to grow each day I chose to follow Jesus Christ. My true conversion came as I decided to serve a mission. It took me about a year to have a desire to serve and to develop my relationship with Heavenly Father to where it needed to be. I know with all my heart that Jesus Christ's Gospel was restored by Joseph Smith who He called as a prophet. I know the Book of Mormon will draw us nearer to God as we read it, ponder it, pray about it and live what it teaches.

How I live my faith

I try to live each day as best I can. I constantly try to remember Jesus Christ and how He lived, and try to treat others that way. I read either the Bible or the Book of Mormon every single day and I pray many times throughout the day. Right now in my life I am a missionary. Which means from 10am-9pm everyday I share the teachings of Jesus Christ with people in North Carolina. I love every minute of it and I have so much joy in my life because of it.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jeremy
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is where Christ suffered for the sins we would make. He suffered spiritual for our sins and physically on the cross so we might live again. It was necessary because we all make mistakes in life and often times those mistakes cause feelings of guilt and shame. Through repentance and forgiveness and the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can be fully healed. Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

Jeremy
The Law of Chastity is not having sex and sexual relations before marriage, and complete fidelity to one's spouse after marriage. Not participating in any situation that involves pornography or any such material by way of movies, internet, video games, magazines or any thing else. Dressing modestly and encouraging others to do the same. Helping everyone around you keep and maintain the virtue and purity that God gave them. Show more Show less
