Hi I'm Tim

I wear shorts and sandals year round. My family is the most important thing in my life. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I am very active. I love to play sports of all kinds and exercise daily. I am a husband to my FABULOUS wife, and father to my two boys. I love to serve the Lord in any capacity that I can. I work full-time and go to college full-time. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. I believe there is nothing more important in this life than family. At times my wife will tell you that I am “all boy.” I like camping, working hard, getting dirty, and having fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert. I choose to be baptized when I was 15 years old. It started when I felt a desire to go to church. Not specifically the Mormon Church but just a place to worship God. We, me and my family, weren’t currently attending any church meetings. I was playing soccer at the time and mentioned this desire to one of my teammates. He was Mormon. He invited me to church, and I went. I remember the first time I stepped into the chapel. I felt the spirit of the Lord testify to me that this was where I was supposed to be. I trust myself and my feelings. I was baptized two or three weeks later. I didn’t know squat about the Mormon religion except for the brief introduction provided to me by the missionaries but that didn’t matter. What mattered is that the spirit testified to me and I listened. I took the first steps by faith trusting in those feelings that I felt. I have been a member for over a decade now and can testify that the feelings from the spirit won’t lead you astray!

How I live my faith

I love the church, the gospel, the members, and nonmembers. One thing that I have really learned by living the gospel of Jesus Christ is how to love everyone. I do this through service. I love service. I do not place judgment on anyone because of how they act, speak, or look like. Some of the greatest joy in my life comes from serving my family and those around me. I have been fortunate enough to serve the young men of the church as a leader and Scoutmaster. I really loved being Scoutmaster because we went camping about once a month. FUN! I am currently serving the men as a member of the quorum and a leader. I do the best I can to follow the teachings of Jesus, and I testify that when we do He is always there to help us.
