Hi I'm Scott

I grew up on a worm farm - my wife is terrified of worms. What are the odds? Life is great because I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been described as a teenager at heart. I'm a believer in keeping life in balance; I never get too high or too low. I have my own brand of jokes - most people laugh at them to keep my spirits up. I'm not afraid to try anything. I have been a logger, street sweeper, salesman, worm harvester, and am working toward an undergraduate degree in strategic communication.

Why I am a Mormon

The principles taught within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have proved to bring happiness to my life. The happiness i have is founded upon hope in Jesus Christ. He is my reason for hope; because of him I have complete trust that all experiences are for my benefit and growth.

How I live my faith

For the past two years I have had the privilege of working with the 12 year old boys in my local area. We participate in church activities and the Boy Scouts of America program. I throughly enjoy working with the boys because of their excitement for life and their ability to learn. They teach me a ton about myself as well. My goal is it be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to bring them closer to Him by sharing experiences from His life, my life, and the lives of prophets. I appreciate the choices they are making at this pivotal time in their life and it is my prayer that I can help instill in them a love for Christ and our Father in Heaven.
