Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Mormon who loves sports!

About Me

I've been a member of the Mormon Church my whole life. I work in Information Technology (IT) spending much of my time managing servers as well as building websites. My true passion is sports. I love playing and watching them. Soccer is my favorite to play and I love watching football and basketball. My favorite teams to watch are the BYU football and basketball teams as well as the Utah Jazz and Real Salt Lake.

Why I am a Mormon

To be honest, I initially started attending the Mormon church because my parent's did. As I spent more time with members and church activities, I realized how it made me a better person. I see so many problems in the world and think about how living by the standards that the church teaches improves not only my life but blesses the lives of all those in the community in which I live. I have also received numerous times a spiritual confirmation that the church is true, that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God to restore the Church of Jesus Christ in our time, the latter days. Had I not received this spiritual witness in my heart, I would still know in my mind that it was right for me by who it has helped me become.

How I live my faith

I strive to live the commandments that are outlined in the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I pray often for help as well as express my gratitude to God for what he has blessed me with. The commandment that means the most to me and that I have a strong testimony about is the law of tithing. Since paying my tithing (10 percent of my income) I have never been without financially. I haven't received any monetary gain from it but I've always been blessed with a job that allows me to provide for my family.
