Hi I'm Kelsey

I have celiac disease and love to experiment with gluten free cooking. This challenge has brought me closer to Christ.

About Me

Currently, I am looking for a job. I recently graduated from college with a major in public health, specifically epidemiology, and a minor in chemistry. I got married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Latter Day Saint (Mormon) temple in August. I love to play the piano, sing, dance, hike, run, swim, cook, read, organize, play board games, play dress up, color with crayons, draw with chalk, and blow bubbles. Most of all, I love to spend time with my husband!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents taught me that I was a child of God. Even as a little girl, I wanted to be with my Heavenly Father again. I prayed, and still do pray, to be close to Him. The only way that I can again be with Him is through His Son, Jesus Christ. As I have grown older, I have questioned my relationship with Christ. Is He my Savior? Have I found His church? As I have studied the scriptures, prayed, fasted, and lived how the Savior has taught us to live, I have come to know that Christ is my Savior and that this is His church. Knowing these truths has brought purpose and a sincere happiness into my life. I want everyone to feel this peace and joy that comes only through Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve others. I do this by being friendly to neighbors, taking meals to those who are sick, helping people find new apartments, and being a secretary for the women in my church ward. I may not always be involved in a huge service project, but I have found that by consistently looking for at least one small way to serve one person every day, I and those I help are happier.
