Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Colorado native who enjoys hiking peaks over 14,000' and officiating high school basketball. Life is Good. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a great life. I have been married for over 15 years and have two awesome kids. We are a 'no pet' family, even though I do get pressure from the family for a dog. No one buys that I am allergic. In addition to the love I have for my family, I also love sports. I enjoy playing and officiating basketball, hiking, keeping active and watching college football. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2000. I am currently the Regional Customer Care Manager for a company that produces Patio covers and vinyl replacement windows in Colorado and California.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my entire life. I am grateful for my family heritage, which has been part of the gospel of Jesus Christ for many generations. Being a Mormon has always been a blessing in my life and has provided me with and strong foundation of faith. The gospel has given me the ability to develop values, provide guidelines and protections often, while directing me to eternal answers in my life. I am grateful for my ancestors for listening and accepting the restored gospel of Jesus Christ those many decades ago. Even though I have always been a member, there came a time in my life when I needed to learn for myself about the teachings of the church. I could no longer lean on the example and testimony of my parents. Throughout my life I have received answers to these questions, which has helped me gain a knowledge of and a testimony of Jesus Christ as my Savior. These experiences can never be taken away from me or forgotten. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and through devine guidance did restore the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. I also know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is another testament of Jesus Christ. Together with the Bible, the teachings of Jesus Christ provide my family and I a solid foundation in a world of uncertainty and shifting values. By knowing these things, I have enjoyed a peace in my life that will never be taken. My testimony is precious to me.

How I live my faith

Each day I strive to be the person Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father expect me to be. Though I fall short, I get up and do the best I can. Each day I strive to be the best example I can in word and deed. Those around me know of my standards and many times I find that they are the ones who let others know of my standards. I strive to be honest at all times and in all things. I teach my family the importance of daily prayer, scripture study and weekly family activities. I know that our family can grow closer to one another by doing these things.
