Hi I'm Biji

I grew up in Nevada, but now live in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 3, two sons and a daughter, who are all grown up now. I love my family they are the most important thing in the world to me. I also work full-time and serve in the church. I love to read and enjoy spending time out-of-doors. I have been a Mormon since I was 19 years old.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel just makes sense to me. I have learned where I lived before I came to this earth, why I am here, and that I will live again after death. I love the doctrine of the church. It makes me happy. I was not raised in a Mormon home, but was baptized into the church when I was in college. Being a Mormon has brought much happiness and many blessings into my life. I know I am a daughter of God, and that Heavenly Father loves me.

How I live my faith

I try to live a good life and be a good example of the Mormon church. I am far from perfect, and I make mistakes. But I know I can repent, and try to do better with each new day. I enjoy teaching Sunday School to young people in my ward, but the best part about being a Sunday School teacher is how much I learn for myself. I'm sure I learn much more than those I am teaching. It's such a privilege and blessing to be able to serve in the church.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Biji
We believe in "life after death". I am so grateful to know that this life is not the end. I have experienced the loss of family members and close friends to death, and it is such a comfort to me to know that they are in a better place and that if I live worthily, I shall see them again when I leave this life. We believe that families are forever, and that through the sealing power of the priesthood, in a temple of God, we can be with our families throughout all eternity.  Show more Show less
