Hi I'm Pamela

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello friend. I am a wife and a mother of five children and eight grandchildren. I am also a Language Arts and Family and Consumer Science teacher in a junior high school. I love working with teenagers. They have so much energy and enthusiasm for life at their age. I believe young people have the potential to accomplished much good in our world if they are given the opportunity and encouragment to do it. I have a Master's Degree and have always loved going to school and learning from others as well as teaching. I have several hobbies and interests. I have a deep passion for cooking good food for my family, friends, and neighbors. I have stitched and quilted many quilts. I enjoy vegetable gardening and homecanning the vegetables into varous recipes to share with others. I was raised in a traditional family. My father was in the military and I lived in seventeen different places before I was eighteen years old. I had to learn to make friends quickly and adapt to many different situations.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of good friends who cared enough about me to share the gospel with me. I guess I was searching for something that would provide stability and constancy in my life when I was eighteen. I had always been dealing with change and the gospel provided a lot of answers about our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ that allowed me to feel peace and stability in the world that I was living in at that time. That peace and stability of knowing about the Savior has increased over the years and His comfort has provided a peaceful understanding of who I am, what I am doing here on the earth, and where I am going. I know without a doubt that there is a Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ care about me and you. There love in endless and all we have to do is have a desire to embrace it.

How I live my faith

Over the years, I have volunteered in numerous community organizations in various capacities. I have faithfully served in The Church of Jesus Christ as a teacher in Primary, Young Womens, Relief Society, Sunday School and in the Boy Scouts. I have also served in leadership positions in the ward and stake for Primary, Relief Society and Young Womens organizations. All of these experiences have strengthen my testimony of the Savior and have allowed me to serve children and adults of my faith and not of my faith. I have always enjoyed helping to make the world that was created for us to enjoy, a better place to live.
