Hi I'm Travis Crump

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I live in Arizona, my wife and I have been here for 4 years. We moved here to start a financial advising position and now have a 1 year old daughter, who is the best part of my day. My wife and I enjoy excercising together, short trips to the coast and near by areas and trying new foods. Some of the things I enjoy personally are basketball, landscaping, hiking and family time. We spend most of our nights with each other and at church activities. Some of the best experiance in my life have come from family time durring the holidays and developing good friendships with those that also like to serve others. I believe the relationships in our lives create who we will become, our relationship with God being the most important.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were mormon and took me to church every Sunday while growing up in Utah. When I was 8 I was baptized, but church, in particular the LDS church, really wasn't important to me until I was 14 years old. I decided to pray about the Book of Mormon and what I was taught, to know if it was true. I did recieve my answer and undoubtingly I knew for myself it was true. As I tried little by little to do what I was taught, I noticed I was happier and best of all my life took direction. I have never questioned keeping the commandments since I received my answer, I knew if I kept them the Lord would lead me in some way, shape or form and until today He has, its been great!. Not always easy but great!

How I live my faith

There are a lot of different ways to live by faith, what has made most sence to me is doing those things that never make you feel ashamed of yourself. For example if I gossip about someone, they may not see or hear me, but I know and God knows. So integrety means a lot to me and God has blessed my life for doing what I know is right, no matter who is looking or what others think. I am not perfect at this nor do I think I will be, but ultimately, God does know who we are and what we are capable of. Doing what God wants us to do and following the teachings of Jesus Christ is very rewarding.
