Hi I'm Terry Lee

I am a wife, a mother, grandmother, potter, dancer, gardener, connoisseur of chocolate and I am a Mormon.

About Me

At this stage of my life there are things that I love with all my heart. Having been raised by wonderful parents in a happy home with eleven dearest siblings my family have always been dear to me and I still have a sweet loving bond with my siblings. Married to a wonderful man for 40 years, together we have raised seven beautiful children and grandparents to 23 precious grandchildren who are the light of my life. I love creating treasured family time with activities, treasure hunts, and outings that create sweet family memories. I am a potter and I love sharing my creations with others. I love hiking, gardening and other outdoor activities. Besides the temple and my home, Lake Powell is my favorite place to be with all my family. When we are together at the lake it is like heaven on earth. I am in a performing dance group with women 50 to 93 years old where we perform fun dance routines for Universities basketball halftimes here in Utah. We also perform yearly in Jackson Hole Wy., Tuachann St George, Branson Missouri, Disneyland and other places. I love my time with my children and grandchildren, creating pottery and my dancing friends, but I will be leaving these things I love to serve a humanitarian mission to Katmandu Nepal with my sweetheart for two years. Yes, I will miss these things dearly (especially family) but I look forward to serving with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a loving Mormon home where my parents taught us and I simply believed all my life. Although there was a stage in my life where I had to discover for myself truth. I simply experimented on the word and I planted a seed of faith and of hope in Jesus Christ in my heart and I went about nourishing the word. I can say for myself that that seed has blossomed to a sweet testimony and I believe and know that the path I have chosen is correct for me for it brings me much peace and happiness. I cannot deny the peace I feel.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by sharing my love for God and His word to those I work with in my church. I particularly loved working with the youth and with children and I have benefited from their simple and pure faith. I love sharing my love for the scriptures. They have enriched my life and I know in them I find truth. I really love meeting people and try to be happy and uplifting to those I come in contact with. I enjoy finding the good and positive in all those I meet and seeing them for their beauty. I find all to be beautiful. I served a full time mission to New Zealand when I was younger and look forward to serving with my husband in Nepal these next two years.
